Start with the selected production option
Use the turnaround shown for your exact product and selected options. A coating, binding method, quantity or other finishing choice can change the schedule. Production turnaround is the time needed to make the order; it does not include shipping to you.
Before production can start, the order must be complete, the required payment received, and usable artwork and any required proof approved. A file that needs correction or an unanswered approval request can move the start date.
Cutoffs and business days
The applicable cutoff and production location determine when a ready order enters the schedule. An order completed after its cutoff moves to the next eligible business day. Cutoffs can differ by product and service, so check the order details or ask our team before relying on a same-day start.
Count production using the business days applicable to the selected service. Weekends, holidays and closure days can extend the calendar timeline. A rush production option shortens the manufacturing stage only; expedited shipping is a separate selection.
Allow time for proofs and finishing
Booklets, specialty finishes and other detailed products may need additional proof review or preparation. Approve only after checking every page, size, orientation, fold and finish selection. Replacement artwork or changes after approval require a new schedule review.
For eligible grouped shipments, timing is based on the last approved job, and the whole group waits until every job is ready. See the shipping policy for the grouping rules.
Build a realistic delivery plan
Order preparation + production + carrier transit = your planning timeline. Leave a buffer for file corrections and transport delays. Carrier pickup and transit estimates are explained on our shipping times page.
For an event, launch or other fixed date, share the product, quantity, destination ZIP code and date you need it in hand before ordering. We can review the available choices without assuming that a production estimate is a delivery guarantee.
Direct mail and EDDM
Mailing projects also require list or route review, processing and postal preparation. NTXPrint confirms the itemized quote before customer payment; postage is passed through at cost. The mail handoff date and postal delivery period are separate from the print-production estimate.
